It is a complete Quad-Band GSM/GPRS module in a small form factor SMT package with dimensions (24 x 24 mm) that could meet almost all the space requirements in the M2M applications. Key feature enhancement includes the latest technology based on ARM926EJ-S processor and wider operating temperature ranging from -40°C to +85 °C.

After rigorous testing of safety and performance, SIM900 earned the approval of AT&T Mobility, which would speed the time and decrease the cost for new solutions to North American Market.
